Here's a brief list of movies I like (updated):
AI, Anchorman, As good as it gets, Beavis & Butthead do America, Borat, Cheech & Chong: up in smoke, Clerks (parts I & II), Goodbye Lenin, I am Sam, Jurassic Park, Major League II, Mercury Rising, Rain man, Spanglish, Spirited Away, Star Wars trilogy, South Park: bigger-longer-uncut, Suburbia and Underground Comedy Jam (only on video/DVD), Radio, Jerry Macguire, the Lion King, one hour photo, "300" and 7 years in tibet.
I got more movies to list, but I'm gonna do another post later

...Or take care of it by a little quote. :lmao: Oh yeah, the "other" forum merged my double posts made a month apart, and I told the new mod. and she thought they were made a day apart. sheesh...what's their excuse? <_<
Not long ago, I seen Jerry Macguire "show me the money" and Radio, also starring Cuba Gooding Jr.

On Radio, a true story on a mentally challenged 30-year old man who rises in the high school sports faculty in 1970's South Carolina. As the man learns to read and speak better, he continued to be promoted from waterboy to assistant over 30 years and the students stopped teasing him. The movie ends with the real "Radio" made a cameo as the high school football coach. Nice way to end the movie about his life improved by support of friends and the community.

J-syxx, the posted image link of your fave movie doesn't work! :holyshit: Sorry, but you gotta explain to us in writing. :hmm:

Anyone heard of the Underground comedy jam, the made-for-video movie? I loved it: full of risque humor guaranteed to offend everybody or your money back! Non-rated, but rated "F' for Funny: not suitable for whiners who wanna censor everything! Hey...it's made for video/DVD, not on public display. :lmao: :roflmao:

Infinite Leviathan
Very Special Forces

Yellow Submarine or Barbarella: Queen of the Galaxy, they're equally tripped out and campy.

As for my favorite movie that most people have actually heard of: V for Vendetta.

Suburbia (1996) made by the producers of "Kids" a cult classic in the early 90s, is on a group of angry or bored teens who hang out all night in front of a liquor store.

Characters include a "fascist" skater released by the US army covered in tattoos and his mentor tells him he shouldn't hate other races of people. And the feminist girl had nose rings speaks of her hatred of men for every problem afflicted on women.

Also in the film, the teens drink and loiter... and talks about dislike of authority, but Suburbia is rated "R" for drugs, sex talk and obscenities.

Here's another good movie: Seven Years in Tibet is a mind-blowing movie (if history is one of your interests) on a German hiker became friends with the young Dalai Lama in the 1940s, before Communist China invaded and annexed Tibet by 1950... and today the Dalai Lama, aged but strong and content, lives in exile as a symbol of Buddhism, and a global hero to stand against political oppression.

I think my fave movie would definitely have to be Anastasia! :D  I love that movie

I remember seeing that movie a long time ago when it came out and there were WAAAAY too many songs in it. I can't stand songs in movies and that movie was practically a series of songs with a little bit of stuff that isn't songs thrown inbetween.

For a movie about a character with OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder) and it's displayed symptoms (random acts without logical thought process, and attached to things, subjects or people), You should watch As good as it gets starring Jack Nicholson (I don't really like the actor, but excellent role-playing) and Helen Hunt, who plays the girlfriend of the OCD-stricken character.

The man stricken with OCD does crazy things in part of his disorder: he threw a dog down the apartment laundry chute, always sits on one table where his GF (a waitress) works with the table ware arranged in a certain way, and made offensive comments about race (like the dog's caretaker, played by Cuba Gooding Jr. and his remarks: "I got Jews on my table") and insensitive to other people, including his girlfriend's neighbor, an openly gay artist.

As good as it gets isn't suppose to depict people with OCD, ADD, Bipolar or other mental disorders in a weird negative way. In fact, the TV series Monk is based on a OCD-ridden detective played by Tony Shalhoub, who has unusual repitive behaviors and multiple phobias (i.e. dirt and germs). It can be comical at times, but Monk always finds way to perform his professional investigate work.
