Jumping sure, and I don't see anything wrong with crouching, though I don't know many people that have it actually bound to a key, so it might be a good idea to just stick with jumping. But it's your call, I guess. |

I don't think I've ever gotten crouching to work, although I haven't really tried either. I have set to a key and enabled it in the options, but nothing has happened when I've hit the crouch button. No crouchey. No one uses it. |

Works fine for me. And I use it quite often for my own ZDoom stuffs. But I wasn't planning on using it particularly for this anyway. |

Crouching works fine for me but I personnaly would rather not have to. I use Skulltag as my main port and it does not, as of yet, support crouching. Therfore, I shall noclip through all crouching

Yeah, but Skulltag still (IIRC) uses an outdated version of ZDoom's code as its base, and as a result quite a handful of ZDoom's features compromise Skulltag compatibility. So what good does using Skulltag do? Besides, Skulltag is mainly for multiplayer games anyway, so it's not like it matters. Unless, are we including DM/coop as well? |

As an afterthought, we might consider making our maps DM friendly, but otherwise I don't think it is important. |

I am SERIOUSLY at a lack of free time for mapping right now. Progress 1%? All I've done is visualization so far.

I'm still screwing around with the first room. How does I use the effect "lower to next sector and change texture" as seen in vanilla doom linedef options? |

Yes, but without the rising floor thing. I may make my temple into just a smaller part of the map, gothic temples are overused. EDIT: WHY NO TEXTURE CHANGE FROM DONUT!? EDIT again: fixed. Edit thrice! So, I may change mapname to "Lore" but I might not. |

Just make a completely seperate part of the map designated to DM. I plan on doing that. This way, you get 2 maps for the price of one and you can use all the textures and stuff you used for the main part so it'll have the same theme and stuffs. Just make sure you don't have any of that stuff spawn in singleplayer as the player can't reach them and, therefore, not allowing 100% completion. |
