Nobodies- Nobodies are born when a heart is swallowed by darkness and becomes a Heartless. They are the remaining parts left behind by the heart: the body, giving a Nobody form, and the soul, giving the Nobody life. However, only those with strong wills such as Sora are actually able to continue on as Nobodies. Those with the strongest wills manage to retain human forms with some slight changes to their appearance, while the rest possess malformed, barely humanoid appearances. Therefore, the more humanoid a Nobody, the more powerful it is. This is opposite the nature of the Heartless, whose form is more monstrous the stronger the original heart is (with the exception of Xehanort's Heartless, who for unknown reasons retained his human form). All Nobodies, vanishing from the realm of light upon the loss of the heart, are born in a world in-between the realms of light and darkness, like Twilight Town or Castle Oblivion. However, because of this and their lack of hearts, they are shunned by both light and darkness, and do not truly exist. Because of their missing hearts, Nobodies lack emotion. Although, some humanoid Nobodies pretend to possess emotions, fooling others as well as themselves. On the other hand, Nobodies manage to keep their memories of their former lives, but unusual Nobodies lack memories of their former selves. Such memories are the reason why they can pretend to have emotions. However, even though Nobodies don't have emotions, they can think and plan (as opposed to the Heartless, which simply act on instinct, with a few exceptions). List/more info XxX |

The Heartless When a heart falls to the darkness, it creates a being of pure darkness. It feeds upon what it lacks, creating more and spreading the darkness about. Stronger hearts create stronger, more powerful Heartless. Pureblood Heartless are the natural Heartless, born when people's heart are normally consumed by darkness. They are ink-black in color, with yellow beady eyes. They are more common in nature in places that are close to or saturated in darkness. Upon their destruction, they simply disappear in puffs of darkness. Emblem Heartless, on the other hand, are created from machines that reproduce the process of a heart being consumed by darkness. They have more varied shapes, colors, and are branded with Xehanort's symbol to differentiate them from the Pureblood ones. They mostly appear in the many worlds that reside in the realm of light, unlike natural born Heartless. List/extra info XxX |

The Soulless Dark creatures that inflict a single emotion upon others. It is currently unknown how they were originally created, however it is clear how they create more. They attack and consume a creature whole, a new Soulless sprouting from the first, the remains of the creature originally consumed. As the populations of Worlds are consumed, the World becomes barren, a wasteland with a few remaining Soulless to patrol for fresh blood. Some Soulless are animalistic in appearance. The more humanoid a Soulless appears, the stronger it seems to be. Some cannot be distinguished from 'normal' creatures. The creatures that look the most humanoid seem to be part of a group called the Society, similar to Organization XIII of the Nobodies, only these creatures have the potential to be more dangerous. xXxX |
