The boy is described as "challenging". Surely his issues should be looked at, his background looked at, mental health services involved, good social workers, education fully accessible and rehabilitation should be key. How they thought solitary confinement would help his challenging behaviour is beyond me. You're right, our system that deals with offenders, youth or Startup Marketing Video otherwise is a failure, you only have to look at the statistics for re- offending to see that. We should be looking at the protocol for offenders that Scandinavian countries have adopted, not only that but we should be following their education system too because theirs is thriving and we are failing our children. |
