Restricted classes

Red Dragon Disciple and Pale Master.

These classes are more possible for npcs but for now for pcs Its a no no. Aside's they almost do not fit into the world.

Class Changes

Assassin: Gain HipS at lvl 9

Ranger: Track lvl 1 This is a dm reliable or rp ability do not abuse if rolled it is ranger lvl + wis with a d20, lvl 3 toughness, lvl 9 evasion, lvl 18 HipS in natural terrains only

Sorcerer and Wizard: Familiar's are limited towards Panther, Pixi, Raven, Bat and Hell hound. The dragons mephits and eyeballs are out of place so far only one player has a reason for this.

Bard: at every 4th lvl they learn a song for free exampled include. Sun Song, Song of Storms, Eponas Song, Song of Healing ect. Other classes can learn songs but they have to be earned and if a bard takes a song it is best to be discussed with a dm on its effects.

Barbarian: At lvl 14 they gain Indonimble Will, And Mighty Rage feat at lvl 17.

Shadow Dancer: at lvl 2 they gain shadow jump this is limited for small spaces and only magic barriers can limit the force of shadow. this ability increase every 4 lvls after to increase its jumping range. Its range starts off as limited enough to phase through a door. And then increases to be able to phase 15 feet then 30 feet then 45 feet ect. Yes this might be limited compared to pnp but in nwn this is a extremely good ability.

Harper Scout: Every lvl of Harper scout receives a skill focus. A Harper scout is a skill fiend.

Pure classing: Anyone who is seen with a lvl 20 in a base class will get a small bonus based on how they roll played over the years. This includes Prestige classes for much later. The bonus is not overly powerful but it should be decent enough.

Prestige classes: They require focus and ability you may only take one class pure character unless Purple Dragon Knight or Harper Scout.

Skill Use

All skills are used in LoZ from bluffing a target to spotting a key in a puzzle. Most characters in Zelda are well versed and its recommended you try to be that way unless you only want to have one focus which can be boring.

Skill tests with PvP: A optional rule between players if they do not wish to duke it out nwn style is to use skill rolls. Or you could simply just role play it out if you're that well developed. This can range from rolling dex and str on each other or simply rolling d20+ab bonus you're pick how you want to do this.

Perform to note to dms can be used if a character has at least 1 rank in it to earn money at a tavern or town square or in. This can give the characters something to do off time for rp effect as well earning more ruppies. This can only be done once every 6 hours game time. the character will get 25 xp from there song playing and will earn ruppies depending on dc.

1-14 perform = no money but perhaps a other day.
15-19 = 25 ruppies
20-24 = 50 ruppies
25-29 = 75 ruppies
30-34 = 100 ruppies
and ect.

Role Play Class Guidelines:

Fighter/Weapon master-No real changes expect note that fighters and weapon masters are different. NOT EVERY FIGHTER WILL BE A WEAPON MASTER. Also a Weapon master needs great discipline they cannot be a chaotic idiot. They can be Chaotic but they are a disciplined warrior who has dedicated there life towards mastering a single weapon, They are a sword saint role play it!

Also note a Weapon Master does not just become one spontaneously. Remember you need training. Perhaps you need to find a weapon master to train you or perhaps if you are self taught role play training you're self and role play that you have no life other then that dammed weapon!

Barbarian- Barbarian is a title not a career. Any class can be a Barbarian. How ever the class is more like a berserker. Treat it more as such.

Ranger- Rangers are people who lived or grew up in the wilds. They could be trained woodsmen or people who are just are just naturally attuned to the environment. Much Kokiri and Deku would likely fall into this catagory.

Paladin- Paladins Are holy trained knights. They usually fallow from a family of nobility that did not want to take care of there children and were sent to the temple of time or other holy places to become Holy Knights of the Royal Family. A paladin is trained to uphold a ideal moral standing that could be distasteful to the common man. They are by default idealists.

Arkane Archer- In this world anyone race can become a Arkane Archer but, it is a rare profession and often needs a teacher. Its sort of like a zen type of training similar to a Monk but allot less strict. it has a sense of spiritual perfection to enhance one's ability with the bow they use.

No lvl 1 Bards you're bard has to be able to cast lvl 1 spells!

Blackguard- A Blackguard is like the unholy knight. They work under a evil cause, Weather it be a diety or just a force of evil. The Blackguard fuels there own power by the forces they work under. A Blackguard is not a class a person starts off as but, rather a class that someone becomes.

Champion of Torm- A Champion of Torm is not just a holy champion. Any cleric and paladin or blackguard can be that. A Champion of Torm is a selective class often earned through a diety or force. This class can only be granted if you are gifted with its power. As a roleplay note The class is not known as Champion of Torm if known at all It would be known as one gifted with the blessings of the goddess 'NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE TRIFORCE'

Dwarven Defender- This is a class given to a Goron for a special type of training. The training is considered a honor and becoming a protector for the tribe no matter the cause causes the Goron's to believe so strongly in such a moral. Just be lazy and in role play call this class Goron Defender

Purple Dragon Knight- Are Pretty much the Knights and Military Leaders of Hyrule. This is a class is a honor to attain.

Monk- A Monk is not just a unarmed Fighter!!!, REMEMBER THAT, If you want to do quirky martial arts then play a dammed normal class with improved unarmed. Do not worry about sucking that much this is a organic rp server, and there is plenty of good unarmed items for not just only Monks. Now that is clear. A Monk is like a priest but a priest to them selves often. A Monk has a strong sense of discipline and self atonement. A Monk is not just about knowing kung fu and kicking ass unarmed. No You are a self perfectionist you are attuning you're soul to become more then just a normal of you're race you are seeking a forum of enlightenment.

Now this is true what ever Monk alignment you are, A lawful evil Monk does not mean you're a evil bastard who wants to train in the exotic martial arts to become a evil ninja assassin master. That is what I call a fallen Monk with Rogue levels. A Lawful evil monk would be the same as the Enlightend one above expect they do it in a dark more evil fashion purpose. Think of the Monks of the Silent death from Forgotten realms. Or perhaps a evil cult of Monks who train them selves to be ever closer with the darkness of the world. Ect.

Rogue- A Rogue is quite a flexible class it is generally used for all sorts of forms of dirty fighting and under handed scheming abilitys. A spy could be a Rogue, A ninja could be a Rogue, A pirate could be a Rogue maybe some Fighter, A Thug could be Rogue, A small time thief could be a Rogue, A acrobatic thief could be a rouge.

Bard- A Bard is similier to a Rogue but rather is also a performer, Note that a bard is not just a normal performer they are the best of best. Sometimes Trained sometimes self taught. Ither way they figure a way to conmune with music to a super natural degree. Any minstrel is just a normal common man or any other class with some ranks of perform. A Bard is much more.

Assassin- Well you might be thinking oh anyone can be this class, Wrong, This class is not the normal of the mill assassin. A normal Assassin can just be any man. This class is likely a man or women who was raised with no family was only trained to kill with a calculating method. They are perfectionists when it comes to killing they are elite squads of the underground market. Chances are if you're gona become a Assassin you need training and a high understanding of the humanoid body. Becoming a Assassin would mean you have background with such dark people or you are about to be trained by them. Ether way Its not easy and it takes a good deal of time and often you need a mentor.

Shadow Dancer- Is a class limited to the Shiekah it requires special Training and ability. The Shiekah have used the ability that come with a shadow dancer for many ages.

Harper Scout- A Harper Scout, Well in the game world I am not calling it Harper scout. Its gonna be simply known as agent. Basically a Harper Scout is like James bound to a lesser degree or even a privet detective. Often favoring a terrain and a type of foe they study. They are great at sneaking into other kingdoms to retrieve information and very good at not releasing any as they are trained to have extremely great will. Often requires training in a kingdom or a other.

Spellcasters

These classes are limited in the respect that magic in Zelda is simply known as magic. Allot of true spell casters do not exist and most people just have magic like objects to help them in there every day lives so this any magic user needs permission to enter and a decent background.

Cleric- A clerics magic is a magic that requires some study into one's inner mind and surroundings they are often wise and aware. There magic is very priestly because allot of there traditions or teaching is from a religious stand point.

Druid- Often common with the Kokiri this is a type of nature mage who draw's there powers from the elements from around them. Unlike dnd druids they do not fallow the code of not using metal objects for that is a ability of nature as well. Most druid classed mages are Kokiri or Deku.

Shifter- A Shifter is very much the same as normal. Expect to earn the class you need to show some study or training in the ability. This could range from a magical ritual to simple hard ass training to being taught by a mentor.

Wizard- This is a mage who has found methods to use magic by pure knowledge. They are often well disciplined but the time to take in and remember such knowledge is strainious on there free time and life. A class to be respected.

Sorcerer- This is the most lucky of the mages often gifted with a natural affinity to a type of magic or many types. These mages often just relies on there own natural power.
