The Program This thread is for new or old nations alike that wish to learn more about NationStates (NS), The Rejected Realms, and the World with the help of a Mentor. A mentor is a player of NS that knows what they are doing and have volunteered thier time to help you learn and become a active member of the NS world. If you read this thread because you are interested in teaching your fellow members, please sign up Here! Mentors Role A mentor, like I have said, is a member of NS that is here to help you. They are here to teach you about what you ask, answer questions you have, and just be a friend. All have volunteered thier time because they wish to help you, so don't be scared to ask a question. There are many things in the NS world that can be explored! Such things include, The World Assembly, The Raiding/Defending Game, playing a role in your region, NS Governments, RolePlaying, etc. The Current Mentors Eluvatar Unibot Drop Your Pants Jeux II Earth Tim All of these people are willing to listen to your questions and thoughts, and provide you with answers. I have been playing NationStates since February 2010 and I am writing this paragraph because our Culture Officer deems it necessary. I am apparently a mentor which means that I get to advise all the new nations on all of the fun stuff that happens in TRR and in NationStates. Thus I believe that this paragraph gets to become a bunch of shameless promotion of myself. One of my proudest acts was SC#74. What SC#74 did was give a beautiful shiny badge to [region]Lone Wolves United[/region]. I somehow managed to convince people that I actually wanted to condemn them and not just give them a shiny badge so my proposal passed 7,649 to 2,104. I had a very fun time writing the proposal because it made me a star in the SC. I then partake in raiding which means that if you are a defender, and I am your mentor, you will die a painful death being squashed by my TITO-swatter. Raiding is a really cool thing that I partake in a lot. Did I mention that I recently raided [region]Evil[/region]. I infiltrated the region and then beautifully took over the region, trolling all the way. I'm currently helping out wherever there is a big raid. Well I think that is enough shameless promotion so I will now hide in the Thundercat Lair before our Culture Officer kills me.
