Greetings to members of The Rejected Realms! I would like to thank you administration for kindly granting us an embassy Adminstrative The members of Skyrim recently ratified a regional Constitution and we completed our first bout of the first elections. Exciting times! We have recently moved to our new forum site and are conducting all elections there. The regional administration of Skyrim suffered severe losses in the past weeks. Our Speaker of the Assembly (elected head of all forum users) vacated his post without any fore-warning of any kind to other members or the administration after just three short days in office. This left one of our most active administrative posts vacant, so an emergency vote was started to fill the position. Additionally, after our Speaker left, our regional Prime Minister also left his post to take a position as Vice Chairman of The Genesis Corp. We knew this member was going to leave, but he publicly planned to finish out his term of office which ends in October. So again we had to start an emergency election to fill the Internal Affairs With the entry of the first Constitutional government, many changes are taking place in Skyrim. We have shifted our focus from heavy recruiting to regional WA percentage, Delegate endorsement percentage, and forum membership. These numbers have been relatively low and lackluster given the large population of Skyrim. We have seen a pleasant rise in both Delegate endorsement percentage and forum user percentage, both goals of our Internal Affairs team for the term, though they still could be better. Recruitment is currently just enough to fight off the slew of inactive nations we see dying every day (that magical 400 mark seems so far away!). The Skyrim Developmental Initiatives Department recently ran into some bad water when a member of the recruiting corps left spam on TWP wall and then proceeded to be incredibly disrespectful to the nation representing TWP who confronted him. Needlessly to say, this member was immediately removed from our recruiting corps. Skyrim has enacted new policies regarding foreign embassies very similar to the one used in TRR-regions must now request embassies on our forums before they are granted an in-game embassy. Additional regulations have been put in place that include minimum regional population, regional government, and regional forums. Foreign Affairs While turning inward to face pressing matters, Skyrim is also making an aggressive effort to get noticed on the world stage, pursuing embassies with prominent regions like the West and South Pacific, as well as joining more inter-regional groups such as the NS Republic (TWP). With the exception of salvaging relations with TWP after that recruiter debacle, all alliances are quiet so far and peace is in full effect with all friendly regions. We did have a stint where our recruitment message was blatantly copied and used by another region who was immediately contacted and given a cease and desist. Skyrim will be entering into a major pact with Lone Wolves United and other regions in the coming weeks, the details of which are classified up to this point. Military Skyrim has recently taken on the mantle of "Largest Mercenary Region in the World" and we are reorganizing our military accordingly. We have achieved military alliances with powerful regions like LWU and hope to pursue more of the same types of relationships. We currently have no operations planned or in effect. Please feel free to leave questions should you have any! |

Heh, so you're having problems with officials resigning too We've been having that for several months now.Interesting to hear you'll be joining what I presume is the Scardino Pact. Your embassy application mentioned cooperating with us on military stuff - I think that'll be tricky, as the Scardino Pact requires its members to have invader only militaries. That said, if you're still aiming to be mercenaries, there's still a chance - you'd have to talk to one of the RRA Commanders about that. Also, how's membership of the NS Republic working out? I remember that being launched in a blaze of publicity a few months back, but haven't heard much of it since. |

Indeed, we have pledged mercenary support to LWU (our WA nations are horribly unresponsive most of the time ), but we would like to get our military some experience. They grow bored just sitting in our region-the most violent things that happen in Skyrim are rampant spammer ejections ![]() As for the NS Republic, I feel the same way you do-we were invited as the largest to join up at the time, so we submitted an application that didn't get looked at for a week. I have yet to hear if we have made it in or not. Plus, after that little recruiting incident described above, I have fears we may not make it in anyway. *scoffs* Hopefully they get back to us by the end of the week. |
