Taken by permission from IRC:
For those of you who don't know, the FRA planned an attack on The South Pacific (and failed miserably, I might add). Sedge and CG were both removed, apparently because the former Arch Chancellor of the FRA and CG (the one and only) cannot be trusted. This is a clear violation of our rights, and just another example of why TRR should not be IN the organization. Not only will our public image be smeared if we stay connected to their political/tactical screwups, but now we're being insulted on top of it all. I would like to renew debate on our position within the FRA. ~B |

What. The. Hell. Are we not trustworthy enough for Unibot and his little gang? We just confirmed that we want to stay in, and now we are given the middle finger? I'm sorry, this takes the cake for me. I'm fine with them having problems with Biyah and myself. But seriously... CG and Sedge? They better have a damn good explanation regarding this. And fast. |

Um... Sedge and CG both support Dev, this was a no brainer, we cannot have a supporter of Dev in the channel when we're conducting a mission to overthrow him. I'll post more about this later, but I did my best to make your kick, "friendly", using a message regarding it -- I'm not mad at either Sedge or CG, this was simply a practical policy, and your rep was not banned nor kicked. I spoke to Sedge about it and seemed okay with, CG was asleep, but the mission was about to start. #fra is also used for missions, when those missions have non-rangers partaking in them. |

TRR is neutral. -I- openly support dev. I think I'm the only one who has posted so. |

Uni don't be a dick, and you know full well the #rangers can be used specifically for missions. You stated yourself, that #fra was for liaisons & stuff. How do liaisons outrank member regions? |

Sorry Uni, but you definitely overstepped your mark here. You opened up a new channel for such mission plans. Likewise TRR is a member region of the organisation, likewise you could of asked them to leave if you still wanted to use the FRA channel. If you had asked them and explained you were temporarily going to conduct mission planning, and since you (CG and Sedge) are mods could they please leave. Knowing them both, I'm sure they would have happily obliged. We all make mistakes, but I cannot condone such an action, however well intentioned. Besides I thought we were liberating TSP, not overthrowing it. ![]() |

I agree with you but on one point. That wasn't a liberation. Not of a region anyway. Put in simple terms Dev didn't raid the region. He and 100 other WA's didn't storm the region. He got there by native support. Making him the native delegate. An outside force storming the region to oust the sitting delegate, a native delegate, that's a raid. I am aware that's not the intent, but in the end that's what it is. The idea of liberating it for SB because she was ousted, well she can only blame herself for not paying attention, and she can blame the other natives that gave their support to someone else. That is also why it's not a liberation. Your only liberating it for a hand full of nations, nations I might add who were only holding on to their power for the sake of holding it. They certiantly wasn't actually running the region doing nothing. By liberating it for that handfull of nations, you step on the toes of the other natives who have given their support to Devon. And they can say they was raided. |

Definitely time for TRR to strike out on its own, after this TSP fiasco. |

I like a lot of FRA members, and admire what the organisation has done in the past. However, the last couple of months, I've been less than impressed with its actions. The FRA has previously recovered from having Falconias in charge, so I don't think we should rule out the fact it may improve. I recommend as a first step, our Regional Assembly representatives bring forward a motion to impeach the current Arch Chancellor, who seems to be responsible for most of the FRA's recent failings. |
