I would like to move that the Use of Kandarin Thread be moved out of the Residents only section. I believe the discussion and nature of the nation of Kandarian warrants "outsider" perspective. |

Given that you were so against an 'outsider' perspective on our elections when protesting Unibot's vote, I'll admit I'm surprised by this request. |

We didn't give outsiders a vote in the election, obvious reasons of course. So why would we give them a say in this? It's not their decision to make. As far as I am concerned, It's Nai's decision, always has been. I am not sure why she has given us a voice in the matter to be honest, but she has. I don't however feel outsiders should suddenly get a voice in how we do things. |

A-S, you really are struggling with reality aren't you? The point of the discussion includes security issues. Now of course there's the possibility of a hostile nation becoming a resident here for the exact reason of reading such threads. That's a relatively small risk and one we're prepared to take. But what you're suggesting, to make the discussion open reading for anyone, is a risk several orders of magnitude greater. And just to remind you, this is a residents' matter. We don't need outsiders telling us how to run our region, and it's not appropriate to open the decision to outsiders. |

Agreed. This is a residental matter. The only reason to throw it into public is if you want more opinions that mirror yours, that Kandarin should not be the nation-in-charge. 95% of those opinions will be raider-types who want to sew chaos. Nice try. ~B Edited by Biyah, Jan 25 2011, 06:12 AM.

Outsiders can know the final result, but not have a say. As I've said in another topic, treat it as real politics in game form. Governments don't let insiders voice their opiions during debate on internal matters. Why should we? |
