Basically, 4E seems very...anime-ish to me. So I thought I'd complete the transformation. ![]() Flavor Conversion A single round takes 3 seconds as opposed to 6 Speech is no action, not a free action Mechanics Conversion Character Building 26 points instead of 22 All characters granted one level 1 magic item of their choice Skills Athletics: Speed for climb/swim = (total/5) + 1 In addition, all skills have 2 levels of training (2nd is attainable as a skill or through a feat; +5 bonus as normal) Feats New Heroic Feats Advanced Training Prerequisite: Trained in the relevant skill Benefit: Choose a skill you are trained in. You are advanced in that skill. Fleet-Footed Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to your speed. Special: This replaces the feat of the same name in the Player’s Handbook. Special Attack Prerequisite: Any two ability scores 16+ Benefit: You gain 15 points to spend on a special attack (detailed below). New Paragon Feats Fast Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to your speed. Special: This feat stacks with Fleet-Footed. Ultimate Attack Prerequisite: Any two ability scores 20+ Benefit: You gain 30 points to spend on an ultimate attack (detailed below). New Epic Feats Improved Special Attack Prerequisites: Any two ability scores 20+, Special Attack Benefit: You gain an additional 15 points to spend on your special attack. Improved Ultimate Attack Prerequisites: Any two ability scores 24+, Ultimate Attack Benefit: You gain an additional 15 points to spend on your ultimate attack. Windfoot Benefit: You gain a +2 feat bonus to your speed. Special: This feat stacks with Fleet-Footed and Fast. Equipment New Superior Weapon Huge Sword Prof +2 Damage 2d8 Range – Price 40 gp Weight 18 lb. Group Heavy Blade Properties High Crit Rituals If the user has advanced training in the relevant skill, the casting time or component cost is halved (user’s choice each time the ritual is used). Special and Ultimate Attacks A special attack is that spark of power that makes your character unique, even with the rest of his history and design. It’s an ancient, forgotten blessing that makes the character nigh unbeatable in combat, because it’s always there. Ultimate attacks are even more powerful than special attacks, and when called upon make your character truly awesome to behold. In short, special attacks are encounter attack powers that you design, and ultimate attacks are the daily versions.
