Off visiting Candy Cave, be right back. Posts: 1,132 Group: Members Member #216 Joined: January 7, 2007	Our holiday on the Big Island of Hawaii has been so good. We have had so much fun and enjoyed ourselves so much. We did some snorkeling the first day. Went to the volcano national park and walked on the floor of a crater. The hike was 4 miles long, we walked along the edge of the crater then down the far side across the floor and back up the other side. It rained the whole time and we where wet to the skin when we where done. Of course we didn't have a change of clothes with us just our swimsuits as it was a lovely day when we left the condo. We did a little shopping at the store and got t-shirts and a pair of short for me. Then the next day we went and played in the water, a little snorkeling and then played in the surf. The next day we did some bodyboarding and had a great time. I did do a major wipe out and ended up with road/sand rash on my face and a very sore neck and lower back. If you have ever seen "Wipeout" on Tv and happen to see when someone has their feet come around there head from behind and you know their where not to bend that way then you know how bad my wipe out was. . I am going home with a small gift from my fun. a little area under my eye. The the next two days we just spent laying on the beach and playing in the water. This morning we headed out to go bodyboarding again. we spend a good hour playing but the waves where just to big to feel safe out there today. I did about 6 runs and then said I was good and DH and DS played for a another 30 mins or so, but they didn't get many runs in and called it a day. We went to another beach just down the road that is more closed in so the waves are not as big and we where able to play in the water. We leave tonight and none of us want to go home. We have had one of the best places to stay. The condo has had everything that we could want or need and being able to go down to the pool at night to cool off has been so nice.
