so beautiful. Colorado is such a pretty state. You must just pinch yourself every morning waking up to such beauty. That said, I think I too will admire the snow from afar. I kinda enjoyed riding in my short sleeves today. Of course when the DC humidity hits, I'll be missing the snow. Our weather here is like hair, straight hair wants curly, curly wants straight. When we have snow (that we are ill-prepared for) we long for summer and when we have summer we long for winter. It's some sort of right earned by zipcode to grumble about the extremes of weather. |

Although I am ready for the snow to be done, ready to plant flowers and enjoy spring, I still love the snow. Perhaps if I lived somewhere that had snow on the ground for months and months at a time I would feel differently, but honestly it comes and goes here. It does stay on the ground longer up here in the mountains, but we still (generally) get breaks in between. It's also so dry that it frequently feels warmer than it is! We have a patio to finish in the back and I have some nice plans for flowers that are deer/altitude resistant so I am looking forward to Spring and summer...and bears lol |
