Recently, on a whim, I entered a few photos in a contest never thinking in a million years any would be chosen. To my complete surprised, two were. The judges have chosen the top ten in each category and will chose their overall winners in a few weeks. In the meantime, they are letting the public choose their favorite. Would you guys mind voting on one particular one? I only ask because the little girl in the photo is so excited about the whole thing. There aren't any big prizes but I'm going to make sure she gets a remembrance ribbon of some sort.  The photo is in the left hand column 4th row from the bottom.....a little girl in pink getting ready to pet the nose of a horse while in the rain.....titled "First Contact". Just click on the pull down menu at the top, select "First Contact" and your enter email. Once you receive your email make sure to click on the link or your vote will not count. Lovely shot! (Too bad the majority of the pro shots are all highly photoshopped. It seems like that isn't photography anymore, but rather graphic arts). |

Thanks everyone!!!  Macmtn....I LOVE that one, too!! There is just something about horses and little kids.... SnackPack....I agree. I was quite surprised. |
