When I click on a thread it automatically takes me to the first unread post. Does it not do that for everyone?
You know, I know it does, but for some reason I tend to click on the last "page" button instead. But know that sometimes a long thread has so many new posts and if you don't have time to read them all you have to go back and a long thread can get confusing.

I like the idea of a *new* update post that invited everyone (lurkers included) to come out of the woodwork and give an update. I think that there are a lot of people who probably read the Humor Me thread but if they haven't been actively contributing they might feel awkward adding an update. I know I have felt like that before, especially if my update is really pathetic (e.g. I actually rode today. And didn't fall off. End of update.) :teehee:

Then people can keep adding onto it, and maybe a few months later someone can just start another thread and again invite everyone to join in.

Indy, nice combination of forums! I think it will work well. I like the idea of a "rolling updates" sort of thread...it's great seeing the big and little stuff you guys are doing!
