A little back story.

This summer my DH traded his SUV for a motorbike, a Hayabusa. Now he has always been a cruiser rider but is enjoying the sports bike a lot.
We talked about the trade before it happened and I told him that if he can't ride it due to weather he better be ready to ride his peddle bike to work. Due to our work hours I need the truck. If he can drop me off and pick me up from work then he can drive it.

We get a ton of rain and very little snow but the temps have dropped and it is cold in the morning, but he has been riding his bike even though he is wet and cold when he gets home.

I got up early this morning to do a few things around the house before heading in to work. I got up an hour before him, I even went to wake him up as he had sleep pass his get up time. What does he say but he is going to ride his peddle bike to work. OK fine.

10 mins after he gets up he comes and asks if I will give him a ride 1/3 of the way in. The drop off point is 20 mins drive from home so that is eats 40 mins of my morning. the morning that I am trying to get things done around the house. I get upset only because he is asking me now, not last night so I was ready, but now. I say Yes because I am a good wife :innocent: "OK, you have 10 mins to be ready and out the door or no ride. Next time you are to let me know the night before and you are to be ready." So like a mom. :teehee:

I get about 2 miles away from the drop point and say "I am going to let you off here as it is easier for me to turn around."
DH " that fine."
As I pull over. "OK out you go."
DH "Don't I even get a kiss?"
Me "Only if it is fast." :teehee: Get my kiss
As DH is getting out of the truck. " don't leave till I get my bike"
"All right but hurry up" :innocent:
What happens from there on was just to funny. I don't like to leave till I know he is on his bike and riding. Well it took him 15 mins to get on his bike and get going. First he had to put on his rain pants because it was cold and wet out, then he couldn't get the zipper undone for the leg because he had not dried them right and it had rusted. Off when the bike shoes, then he couldn't get the shoe back on. Next he couldn't find his gloves that where in his helmet. In all of this he is taking off and putting back on his backpack to get things out and look for stuff. After walking around the truck 3 times to find his glove I tell him to just get another pair from the backseat. When he opens the door there are his gloves that had fell out of his helmet.
At the end of all this DH says. "I think next time I will get ready the night before." with a big :innocent: smile on his face.

All of this was done with much ribbing and joking around and me :point: at him. He does drive me crazy sometime, but we have fun even when he pisses me off. So my 40 min drive turned in to an hour that I missed of things I was going to do this morning. Guess who will be doing the rest of the dishes tonight when he gets home, hope he is not to cold and wet? :teehee:

:) Maybe he can lay his clothes out on the end of his bed like we did when we were little. :) Cute story!
