In an epic move of gracefulness I hit my face on the bathroom windowsill and have a big bump...and tiny cut that keeps filling up (ick).....anything I can do besides ice to make it go away FAST?! |

Not sure if it'll work on bumps, but Arnica is awesomeness for bruises (I prefer it in cream form but the gel works too, it's just gooier). It makes them go away in record time, so it might be worth a shot on your bump. You can get it at Whole Foods. |

I've always had good luck icing things. If nothing else it makes it feel a little better. |

Way to play the pity card! Seriously, though, that does suck-- I gave myself one on my forehead a year or so ago by stepping on the edge of a big landscaping rake that I use to rake my barn aisle. *BONK* and I saw stars, I had to sit down on the ground because I thought I was gonna pass out! I keep that sucker turned around with the teeth towards the wall now... learned my lesson with the evil rake!Hope it goes away soon.

Ouch! Hope it goes away quickly. I gave myself a huge knot once. Apparently the upper door on my trainer's Sundowner trailer is forehead height...and invisible if you are wearing a baseball hat. I slammed my forehead into the door so hard I was doubled over in pain. Had a small cut and left a nice egg to remember the door by. Now my trainer and I always warn each other about the door. |
