Do basic cotton camisoles/spaghetti strap tanks with shelf bras for women with D/DD boobs exist?? I am not an XL, and even most XL camis I'm finding are just wider; the shelf bra part isn't deeper to accommodate the girls. It'd be nice to have something supportive to put on other than an underwire after I've worked out/showered. I used to be able to get nice little camis from Old Navy and Target, but that was back when I was running 15-20 miles a week. Now that my knees have crapped out and my family's genetics have kicked in, that hasn't been an option for a while now. Are there any options? Edited by Onelanerode, Sep 16 2011, 05:58 PM.

I don't think they'd offer enough support. I am a small C cup and I feel saggy when I wear one of those tops. There are stretchier-nylon-lycra-type ones that are better, but obviously they don't feel as light and loose as the cotton ones. If you're just hanging around the house that's one thing, but if you want to go out in public, well . . . |

I've hit the age that those shelf-bra camis just don't cut it anymore. If they are a comfortable fabric, they are too loose and don't offer enough support. If they are a stiffer fabric, I don't want to wear them. I've resorted to wearing a strapless bra under the cami. 'Course, I think you're younger than me, so maybe not an issue for you yet. But if you are bigger chested, well, I can't imagine they would support enough to look decent...and I'm a 34C |

I can't find one I like. I do have a few that I wear around but they offer next to no support. I've gotten to the point where I just put on a jog bra and tank in the evenings |

It's pricey (and very very worth it) but Lululemon has pretty great tanks with built-in bras: http://shop.lululemon.com/products/category/women-tanks?pagesize=All Their yoga pants are also awesome and last forever ![]() Course I'm a 34B and wouldnt wear just a tank, even with a built in bra, with nothing underneath. Except maybe one of those from lulu - around the house or to yoga - but never to ride or anything. |

This is solely for hanging around the house, maybe running out to the mailbox or taking the dogs out. There will be no going out in public without an underwire or a sports bra. I do not want my picture on People of Walmart. ![]() The cami will be under a long-sleeve or 3/4 sleeve shirt anyway, so no cleavage visible. Edited by Onelanerode, Sep 17 2011, 10:57 AM.

Onelaneroad.....I loved your responsibility to avoid people of walmart. I just closed on my house, and walmart has the cheapest stuff in the area (it seems). So i ventured there (bravely) on a Saturday and WOW!!! i can't believe what people wear out! I was wayyy overdressed as I stopped in on a way to a wedding shower, but still......still.....my eyes....the torture. In other words, I'm a 32D and I LOVE LOVE LOVE lulu. Their sports bras are SOOO supportive. All the lulu stuff I have lasts forever and is amazing. It can be a bit pricey, but seriously, when you consider how long they last, it blows your mind. Its totally worth it in my opinion. They also have a lot of sales if you're willing to wait. |
