I bought something from a small business in Canada and I have no idea how to get the money to her. The price was $40 Canadian, which is essentially $40 US. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the money to her, she says just send a check, but wants it in Canadian funds? Any Canadians care to advise on what I need to do here? I am a paypal gal myself so this is a pain in the arse. |

Could your bank wire funds to her bank in Canada? I'd just call the bank and ask, should be doable and they will convert US $ to Canuckian $.

well I found where I can send money via paypal internationally, she doesn't have an account but she's just going to have to figure it out because it's too much of a hassle any other way

Yeah, wiring money is $$$. You could also get a US Post office money order and mail that to her... just make sure you get the right one! There used to be a couple of different kinds. |

Yah i'd just go the money order route and mail it. I've paid for stuff via Paypal that I ordered in the US, though. Its not that hard. I can also email money with my bank (if the other person does online banking) but not sure if that is available internationally. |

Try xoom.com. This is how we send money to Germany every month- it's much cheaper than going through the bank... |
