Jingles to and prayers for those in the path of the latest Missouri tornados. :jingles:  :jingles: The pictures of utter destruction and incredible tales of survival are heartwrenching. We hide in the relative safety of northern New England-and are rethinking our possible decision to move to warmer climes. Cold & snow-or tornados? :sigh:

Mother Nature really is on a PMS tear this year...will someone PLEASE get her some hormone replacement therapy?!?!! :soapbox:

Heartwrenching is indeed the word. I too am thinking that having cold and snow in the winter is not so bad compared to tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.

Um, cold and snow AND tornados are a possibility. We obviously have plenty of cold
and snow up here near Minneapolis/St. Paul and we just got hit by a tornado that
cut a significant path of destruction through one of poorest parts of Minneapolis.
I have not heard yet about friends in the northern suburbs who have horses, but
I think their area neighbors will pitch in first to care for them and their horses.

All we have where my farm is (east and a bit south of the area of destruction) is
a lot of tree leaves scattered all over.
