My trainer is looking into getting one of those horse hair memorial bracelets for a great old pony who passed on Monday. She needs three of them and was hoping not to spend $80+ on each. Any ideas/suggestions?

Hmmm....even $80 sounds cheap from what I remember.

Can't remember the one I thought was the nicest but I'll try to find it. I don't think it was that inexpensive, though. Maybe if you didn't do any beads....

This is who I used when my Aunt's horse passed http://www.ponylocks.com/ and she's on FB as well. I believe RHowell recommended her to me.

I give her a two thumbs up! :P OH and she will be at Upperville!

agreed, but two of these are for kids, one who is only 7, so you know it's gonna get lost somewhere. She doesn't want to spend a fortune on something for a 7 yr old :) I'll give her the info...thanks!

Call Piedmont Equine (the vet practice) and ask who they use. I received a beautiful one from them when Ian was euthanized. I think RH received something similar from them when Hucklebug passed as well.
