This morning I was out cleaning my stall and my young gelding keep come over to me and then back out to the front field and looking up the road and then would come back to me. I finshed my stalls and then went to take a look at what he was looking at. Up the road there was 3 goats running around.
I went for a walk up the road and found 2 mini donkeys as well. The neighbours gate was open so I wrangled 3 goats up the driveway and then was not sure how I was going to keep the goats in and get the donkeys in as they didn't have halters on. I wanted to leave the gate open but one of the goats keep coming back down calling for the donkeys. One donkey came across the road and up the drive way looking for somethings from me I think he/she wanted a treat. I put myself between the donkey and the road hopping that noone came driveing up the road as the other donkey was on the other side of the road and didn't want to cross. he would put one hoof on the road and then step back on the snow it was like a dance. I was worried that he would step out at the wrong time and a car would come around the corner and hit the poor thing. He finely came across the road and I was able to herd him up the driveway and close the gate.

So that is what me and my horses were doing this morning, the horses keeping an eye on things, me wrangling the neighbours goats and donkeys.

OMG, what chaos! Good thing your horses were keeping an eye on the neighbor critters or who knows where they would have gone off to!
