Trixie is not feeling well, she has diarrehia (sp?) and has been throwing up. She has a vet visit at 11 for shots but I may need to get her in there earlier. Wee jingles for the wee one please? |

Poor puppy! I hope it's just the change in food, and water-that can really do it to humans and animals. Hope she feels better soon. |

Ah, don't freak out too bad.. that's pretty normal for pups, especially pups that act like goats and eat everything in sight! She probably just picked something up she shouldn't have. Nice that she already has a vet visit set up though! |

thanks guys, of course I was terrified that it was parvo at 4 AM but she seems better. The vet said it's just probably an upset tummy from the change in food, change in water etc. Thankfully no worms or anything so hopefully that's all it is. Poor baby...thanks for the jingles all! |

Good to hear it's nothing terrible! My old dog Hogan had such a sensitive belly at that age that he was restricted from everything except puppy food, which we had to experiment with for some time. We even had him on just boiled chicken and rice for a while but eventually decided he might actually be allergic to chicken. He was a winter puppy and we lived right in the city....in the spring we had to power wash the sidewalk in front of our house from all the puppy "pancakes" he had. In the end he went on a lamb & rice food and it was like magic for his poor tummy!Junah has a stomach of iron, having thrown up only 2 times in 9 years, and Gimme is in the middle....sometimes having just a bad day (probably after eating something bad outside). |

Aw poor widdle Trixie. Hard to see them not feeling well when they are so tiny. Hope it's just tummy upset from changes and she will be her little Hoover self in no time again. And for you MT, hard to watch ( and clean up after....)

Poor Trixie and poor you worrying about her! When Logan was a little wee tot, he went through a horrid bout of tummy troubles. I was so worried about him and then when it was just dragging on I was wondering what on earth have I gotten into? Logan's troubles ended up being a coccidia infection from eating deer poop, and once it was cleared up he's had no further problems thankfully. Big jingles for little Trixie! |
