It took awhile to figure out how to take down the awning. I assume they have been up there awhile. All the screws were stripped. Once I got the right tools, it was a breeze. I was also scared it would break a window when it came down, but it was fine. I will do the sunroom next. Those shutter will be a little bigger! I love the way it looks!

  Nice job Won   It looks great. Probably brightens up the inside too eh? Is it a new awning over the door? Surely you can't paint them right? Shutters are a great idea!!!

Awww Freeway, what a handsome fellow showing off his house :cloud9:

BT, yes, new awning. I did that about a month ago...also refinished the front door. I had the paint stripped and then the door was stained and sealed. I love it. Although, the house seems a little bit monochromatic. I think some Spring flowers will help.

Freeway loves his home. He doesn't let anyone in unless I approve!

Love the new look! The grey awning is so much classier looking. The stained door is beautiful too.

I am always confused by Freeway's name. I opened the thread expecting a picture of a highway! Not the 1st time I have done this. I will get it sooner or later. :mallet:

I wish you would come to my house and work on it. It is over 70 years old and no remodeling. I need a new front door! :mallet:

Congrats again on your house! It is very cute! :cloud9:
