I cut the salt in my recipe in half per the recommendation of a chef friend of mine. Per his rec, I also splurged on a fresh, fresh bird. It's been submerged for a few hours now, and I have to keep telling myself to stop peaking, as every time I open the lid, my mouth begins to water. As long as I don't screw up the roasting/basting part, I think this might be the tastiest turkey I've ever had! |

OK Guys, I guess I am going with Tented, and stuffed! LOL And it was a frozen one, so it is now thawed in the fridge. I could not find a single turkey oven bag. they were all sold out of walmart and meijers. So that was going to be my first choice since I have never done that. Its not like anyone is going to complain too much, its just hubby, who has no taste buds hardly. seriously! And me who is hardly much of an eater anymore. But I do like turkey. Will let you know how it goes. My day will consist of seeing Harry Potter, Checking on the boy in his new blanket, maybe lunging and making the bird. Thanks for all your responses. I want to try some of the other suggestions some time too.
