I made this on Sunday for a family dinner and it was YUMMY. Nice hearty fall type cake:

Peanut Butter Sheet Cake:

3/4 C butter, softened
3/4 C creamy peanut butter
2 C firmly packed brown sugar
3 large eggs
2 C flour
1 TBS baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 C milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 C chopped peanuts

Cream peanut butter and butter until blended on medium speed. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.

In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture, alternating with milk, and beating after each addition at low speed until blended. Stir in vanilla.

Pour into greased and floured 13x9 pan, bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Cool completely, frost, and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.

Rich Chocolate Frosting:

1 C semisweet or milk chocolate morsels
1/2 C half and half
1 C butter
2 1/2 C sifted 10x sugar

Combine first 3 ingredients in medium sauce pan; cook over medium heat stirring constantly until smooth.

Remove from heat, stir in sugar.

Set pan in ice, beat at medium speed until it firms up, about 5 minutes. Yield 3 Cups.

Awww...you're welcome!

FYI, I got 50 lbs of peanut butter - it's time to start making dog cookies! Look for a shipment in a few weeks...
