Is the meadow on fire?

I am having quite a few things done around my house. I am really excited about the changes and will post pictures as soon as we finish. The one thing that has me completely stumped is the bathroom color. I have to paint it, but don't know what color. I have two cell phone pics which wash out the color even more than it is...The main tile is a really light yellow (almost beige). The wave is black and the trim is french blue. The tile goes half way up the wall on all walls. The trim is bright white. The floor is yellow and black basket weave. ![]() ![]() I am thinking my only choice is light yellow. Any other ideas? |

You could also do a VERY light blue... we did that in our last house and the walls looked white until you held something white up against them. A really light yellow sounds nice too, or maybe a light gray. I like the funky tile!!! |

If you want to expand your options a bit, it is possible to paint that blue tile, as long as it's not going to get wet a lot, like in the shower. You have to prep it, sand it, prime it, and then paint it. I think there are also specialty paints for tile. |

I'd probably go with a light yellow to match the tile. But I also think a light blue would be pretty. |

Totally awesome tile! I'd go for yellow. Then you can have all sorts of blue and yellow accents, towels, etc. I have a bright yellow bath, with light grey tile (came with the house), and white fixtures. Blue ticking shower curtain, and blue and grey towels. Very bright and cheery. |

Your mention of light grey tile makes me think a grey paint would be gorgeous...and it will steer away from getting too matchy-matchy. |
