Everything else will be FINE. Honest. Even if not one more thing gets done between now and the wedding, it will be beautiful.
 Keep reading this over and over. :P

Remember to breathe and that at the end of the day, all that matters is that you and Mr. RH are now Mr. and Mrs. RH. None of the small stuff really matters in the end.

Get your nails done. Nobody'll notice either way but it'll make you feel fancy and relaxed.

Call on your friends and family for help. This is what they're there for. Don't do it all yourself, that isn't your job. And if you have a particular stress-inducing relative, task a friend with keeping said relative away from you...it makes things happier that way.

And don't forget to pee right before you put your dress on...trust me, you'll be glad you did because if you don't then the first words to your husband when you finally get alone that night will be "if I don't pee right now i'm gonna cry" and that's not romantic at all.

Do let me know if I can do anything to help! I have some time during the week since I'm working P/T, so my contribution doesn't have to be only showing up at the wedding. ;)

I know how the freakout feels, but mine happened the day before. No matter what anyone might tell you, having your parents, brother, and grandfather staying with you, in addition to having your aunt and 2 cousins over for dinner, and then having everyone trying to take charge in MY house is not a non-stressful way to spend the evening before. :psycho: It then caused me to be up until 2 AM, doing various things that I hadn't gotten to b/c of the family (like, uh oh, I forgot to put the flowers/veil on my top hat!) and running out to the (freezing) barn to check on the braiders (who had to do 5 horses) and offer them coffee and remind them of the heated tackroom.

But, even with me mucking stalls at 7 AM, getting horses ready and tacked up, and not changing until 9:20 AM (for a 10 AM wedding), it all turned out perfectly. And the reception in the evening was awesome! People around here are still talking about what a great time they had (and it will be 3 yrs in November!).

Remember that in the end it is the marriage that matters. Everything else is just details. If you end up married to someone you love at the end of the day, the day is a success.

Also, don't forget - if anything DOESN't come out perfectly in the photos I can photoshop it for you later. :cheer:

I Visited Candy Mountain and All I Got Was This Lousy Incision

I've been married 15 years now, so my freak-out(s) isn't/aren't quite so "fresh".

The day after we left for our honeymoon I realized that I forgot to take the cat to the boarding place. Fortunately, my MIL worked down the street from our home, so she stopped in each day to check/care for/on her.

After we got home from our honeymoon, I was going through some the gifts/boxes from the reception. In one of the boxes was the top layer of our wedding cake. This was a WEEK after our reception. Needless to say, we didn't have our 1st anniversary wedding cake...

A few years after our wedding, I was looking through some photos again. I realized that the topper on our wedding cake was missing the hat that was supposed to be on the groom.

Your wedding will be fantastic! Have fun and enjoy it!

P.S. Early congratulations!

He he suniday, good stories :teehee: Good thing the forgotten cat didn't find the forgotten top layer of the cake while you were away :innocent:

It'll get done RH. The important things. We had a few melt downs at various times as well but at least you are remembering these things while you still have time. Delegating is great. And prioritizing of course. And a few things won't happen because they aren't important enough.

Hope you can settle enough to really enjoy it all. Every single minute of it. Congrats  :rose: :martini:

Many people tell me one of the most memorable moments of our wedding was when my father-in-law grabbed the microphone from the DJ and sang "Seminole Wind" with a cumberbund wrapped around his head(!) :o :o Just goes to show you that no matter how much you plan, you can't control everything.  So don't sweat the small stuff and have FUN!!

LOL Delia :-) too funny. It will be a blast RH...don't take it too seriously :) I aske my DH last night what he remembered that went wrong at our wedding and he said, "you mean when my moms (55+ yr old) friend got wasted threw up all over the table - twice - or the crappy photographer?". Seriously, the pictures are the most important thing because that's how you'll remember it...oh photog was terrible so we don't even have any pics from our wedding out at our house :(

You'll be beautiful, the wedding will be beautiful, and it'll all come together.

Now take a deep breath and blow it out!

I wish I could be there...but I'll be thinking of you!

How exciting that you're this close! I agree with everyone else, don't sweat the small stuff. I'm sure it will be beautiful, and hey, if something does go wrong it'll just give y'all something to laugh about in years to come.

(Of course, Mr. BG and I got married by ourselves on the beach in Key West, so I wasn't too worried about the wedding planning. :teehee: )

I just got an email this morning from the venue saying that some high profile meeting requiring privacy is going to be taking place in the main house, so that we cannot use the changing room set forth in the contract and will be provided a hotel room instead and will need to be ushered from our room to the wedding site--um, not happy. Don't want to feel like cattle at my wedding!
