Sorry, I thought you said you needed 18-18.5", so I figured those would all work. How tall are you?

I feel your pain, though - I am about 20" floor to knee (5'10") so I have to find 22"+ tall boots for them to look good after they drop. I couldn't afford customs, though, so I ended up going with a pair of semicustom Beval boots that I found on Ebay. They are a 1/2 size too big so I could get the extra height (although I have to wear an extra pair of socks), and the spanish cut helps, but they still aren't as tall as I want them to be. But for $150, I will get over the 1/2" or 1" that I wish were there. Nobody else notices anyways and my placings haven't been hurt at all ;)

Is there any way you could just find a cheap pair that's *almost* perfect and then just resell them after this show or until you save enough to get the customs you really want? Are you even going to be able to get the customs built before the show (sorry if you answered this already - I didn't reread the thread). It sucks being a non-generic size, doesn't it?

I am 5'7" with a long lower leg and I measure 18" from floor to knee and need a boot that is at least 19+ in order to compensate for the added height of the heel and to accomodate for the drop. I basically need a TALL WIDE, and the only folks that seem to make this size at the Europeans :) The Mountain Horse boots that I can borrow are the only ones that even go on and they are about 2 inches too short, but they'll do for a schooling show.
