I loaned my bro my iPod Touch while he is stuck inside. I wiped out the iTunes log in password when I did so - I trust my brother :cloud9: , I do not trust his gal pal. :innocent:

Sooooo he saw some apps he would like to try. :cheer:

He asked for my log in and password. :o

What would you do??

Too bad he can't be happy with the loan....maybe you can tell him...."Why don't you decide which ones you'd like to try out and I'll be glad to program??? download them...can you tell I don't have one of these things???....and I'll be glad to PAY for them...I'll give you a week to decide which ones you'd like to try"

I like HH's idea - keep control of the situation by offering to do it for him (thus you keep your password stuff underwraps).

I like HH's idea too. It keeps your security but allows him to enjoy some of the apps he's interested in.

He can make his own Itunes account with his own credit card # if he doesn't already have an account. And he can login on your Ipod with his account. Then you get to keep the Apps he downloads

This.

If he asks again, I'd be honest. I wouldn't have a problem telling my brother that I don't give out my passwords to anything anywhere to anyone except my husband. It's just a matter of common sense that people often use the same ids/passwords across multiple sites, so why would you risk your security?

PS, DQ, I know YOU are not the lazy sort to use the same id/password for your bank account that you do for i-Tunes ( :o ), but there are people out there who do such things. :psycho:

Yes you can use another account on the Ipod touch. My dad had extra $ on his account that he wasn't using, so he told me I could use it. So I just logged on using his account information and it downloaded the stuff I wanted onto my Ipod touch. You wouldn't have access to his account unless he left it logged in on your Ipod touch.

Weeeeelllll let's just call her an opportunistic gold digger, shall we? :( I trust her about as far as I can throw her, and she outweighs me by about 130# (but given the right circumstances I would try to throw her - as in don't you dare hurt my brother!! :censored: )

See the really 'fun' thing is while he has my iPod she could could pop in here and read all this.

Of course, being the upstanding outstanding person she is she would never evvah dream of doing that would she? That'd be like reading someone else's mail, going through someone's undie drawer or stalking or such, right? Or trying to find the log in on someone's iPod.....

But I am all wrong about her, so of course she would never do anything like that. :innocent:
