For you! Heartaches suck the big one. Can you go get a mani/pedi or massage on a night when you don't go ride? Occupy your time with something enjoyable. Or maybe dig some eggs into the house plants so they rot and really stink when he takes them away? I hope your heart feels better soon! The loss of the 'dream' is often harder to deal with than the loss of the man (or boy, as it seems to be in this case). |

JTM, tell me more about the eggs! Just break open a few and push them down in the soil? The plants are on my porch so he can take as long as he needs to get them. Just use raw eggs right? I love that! |

Uh oh, you did NOT get the idea from me!! I would think if you dug a hole about 6" deep and plopped an egg in there and then covered it up, it would rot pretty fast? Especially with the bleach! Not that I've ever tried it before

Did any of y'all ever see that email about the woman whose ex got the house and she put shrimp in the curtain rods when she moved out? Ex-hubby and new woman couldn't figure out where the awful smell was coming from, had the house stripped, checked for mold etc? That is totally what I thought about when I read the egg idea.

BG that is totally what I thought about as well!! But then realized that wouldnt work so well, since WFM's Loser Ex BF will no longer be living there. But perhaps shrimp in the plants might do the trick Or sardines....

I did see the shrimp email that went around. I don't have too much stuff left at my apartment. All his kitchen stuff...some small decoration things...wonder if I could put some shrimp in a clay vase he has...how would I get them to stay in the bottom? Maybe a little super glue? That would be priceless... I normally don't do things like that, but if you have been reading this thread, you will note that the packing is left up to me! |

His clothes as well? Wouldnt that suck if the only place with spare room for the (leftover, open) bottles of ketchup and mustard and soya sauce and bleach and other cleaning products was the box with his nice dress shirts and pants? |

Take the high road as you state you do in your very first post about all things clothing and plant life. You will feel better about yourself when you do take the high road. |

He picked up all his clothes last night. He has left his keyboard. I am shocked he left it. It is the most important thing in his life. I wouldn't ever do anything to it as it would be like someone hurting Connor to me. I am just shocked he has been without it since Thursday. I imagine he will get the rest of the stuff today when he gets off work. He will be cleaned out before I get there except for the kitchen which I will have to pack.. I need to stop worrying about what he is going to do...I can't control his actions. If he finds someone new, he is not going to suddenly be the Worlds Best Boyfriend. His issues run very deep and he doesn't think he needs to change. He wants to find someone who accepts him exactly as he is...unfortunately he is socially challenged, and completely inhibited. To say nothing of financially ruined. I have never seen anyone so completely drowning in debt. Yes, I am bashing him. I need to get some of the bad stuff out. |

Read this again Won. It's an absolute fact for a minute I thought that was MY JTM suggesting rotten eggs and the like..... She must have learned that stuff from Headless I agree with DQ. Take the high road. It's not his fault he has issues and hasn't faced them yet. Better you find out now then later on when you are in your lovely new house. Also it's better that you are sorting and packing the kitchen since you will be in full control of what goes where. New beginnings coming soon and it's going to be awesome

Rachel, I was thinking the same thing! WFM, when you're in the new house, write all of those things down and put it on the fridge. And in your wallet. And in your bedside table. Every time you start to miss him/the relationship, read the list to remind yourself if what you aren't missing out on! It sounds like you dodged a real bullet. And then be thankful that, even if he does find someone new, he's not with YOU any more and you are free to find a keeper with all of the qualities you want in a man! |
