The Coors Brewery Tour is good, and if you like barbeque, Daddy Bruce's BBQ is very good!

Coors brewery tour is 30 minutes away in Golden - that's where I live :) - so it's a little farther away from Boulder/Layfayette but the drive is lovely and Golden's a cute town to visit. If you are up for a hike or the day is nice, try Chautaqua Park or the Flatirons trails, or if you have more time, go south of Boulder to highway 170 and see Eldorado Springs. If it's a nice day there will be some rock climbers and the views are spectacular. Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park is another good one if you want to hike. It's also a little farther away (northeast of Boulder).

If you like beer, you must try Mountain Sun brewery on Pearl St. Boulder Brewery is also good, off of Valmont in east boulder. Or just take a stroll down the Pearl St. Mall, which is 3 or 4 blocks of pedestrian-only access with some stores and restaurants. 29th St Mall is another outdoor one but it's like any typical mall with upscale chain stores.

You're also close to old town Louisville, which is a fun place to wander around. Hit up the Waterloo for some live music (I think they have it on Saturdays) or walk around the open space areas. Or you can visit Foxcreek Tack (in a strip mall off of 30th in Boulder) or the Tack Collection in Lafayette if you want to do something you could do at home ;)

have fun!

Dear GAWD a Bactrian camel!! Pretty cool RH. Luna would say Hell-to-the-no if I asked her to share her diva paddock with such a beast. :teehee:

Witchy, I want a giraffe too....but I'll settle for a camel. The horse and the camel who were sharing carrots at the fence seemed very blissful!
