Just wondering if anyone has seen the JCrew bridesmaid dresses in person and if so, was the quality nice?
Did they look like something that could be worn again?

I wore one in a wedding just about 2 years ago now. I loved the dress! (How often do you hear that about bridesmaid dresses??) The quality is great and they looked really nice on everyone in the wedding! I have worn it on several other occasions including a White House event, other weddings, and formal work functions. :)

I have! I wore one and I think they're lovely. I was in my friends wedding in St. John and they were the perfect weight (and color) for such a wedding.

What worked out best for us was that her mom was kind enough to order the same color dress in a couple different sizes and styles so we had a "try on" luncheon for the bridemaids to try the different styles on so we all could find something that fit us and our different sized bodies. My dress was "boobtastic" and I wore it again twice for formal nights on different cruises. This was about 4 years so it may have changed, but at the time everyone seemed really happy with the quality and their wearablity.

I have one too. It was chocolate brown, strapless and short. Very classic and simple, nice quality, something that probably could be worn again. Of all the bridesmaid dresses I had it was probably the least.... offensive.... lol!

I wore one last summer. My friend chose a J.Crew wedding dress, so I opted to go that route for my dress (I was maid of honor). It's a lovely dress, and I'm actually considering wearing it to another wedding that I was invited to this spring.

My niece chose those specifically so her gals could wear them again.

I have a J. Crew "Sophia" dress that I wore as a bridesmaids dress, and I've worn it twice since. It's a flattering design, well made and of quality fabric.

I'm no help. Considering I got married so long ago JCrew wasn't even around, I don't think I have ever seen one of their dresses. :teehee:

One of my sorority sisters had her bridesmaids wear them. They were very cute.

I am in a wedding in May and the bride chose the JCrew dresses for her bridesmaids (there are only 2 of us). My idiot self somehow ordered the wrong one the first time around (thank goodness though, b/c it looked AWFUL on me). The second one came in and fits me perfectly with no tailoring needed. It's a pretty blue color and could definitely be worn again.

I ordered one a couple years ago to wear to a wedding and it was good quality-it didn't look good on my body type (which I should have known ;) ) but I would have kept it if it did.

I tried one on in the store to wear to a wedding-- and I wasn't even a bridesmaid. I just liked the dress. I think they are very MUCH the type of dress you could wear again. Classic, simple, pretty colors.

I recommended them to my trainer who is playing 'step mother to the groom' at a formal wedding in a few weeks. She hasn't decided on one yet ( :o ) but they seem like the best bet. I don't think she'd ever wear it again, not because they don't seem very nice, but because all she ever wears is jeans.

I love them, I have several of the Sophia's in different colors, and really want the Cecelia......I've recommended them to a friend of mine, and she bought and loved it as well!!! I've found they fit fairly true to size, and I think my friend agreed.
