 No lunging. I just got to the show and got on. We walked into the big hunter ring and hacked around. It is very heavily decorated with big beautiful jumps. He never looked at a thing. A truck with landscape trailer full of jumps and jump crew guys drove in right by the jump my trainer had set up for us. The guys jump off the trailer and start measuring lines. Tapes are blowing in the wind. They are throwing hay bales around and my trainer says canter to the jump. My typical Adult Amatuer self says "ARE YOU KIDDING? He is five!!!!!" He says canter to the fence. I did and Connor never changed a thing. Cantered up slowly without looking at the jump crew, jumped up perfectly and slowly and cantered off softly. We did it again and the same thing happened. Then, they kicked us out.

Tomorrow, I show him in the baby greens. Then Friday is the Pre Adults. I could go home right now and be happy!

 You poor deluded thing :sigh: Sure he may go nicely, but my God, what about that awful colour combo you guys are making? The hunter judge in me says 10s for the baby horse but the Hunter Fashion Police judge in me says, iiiii-eee my eyes, get out of the ring!! Which means an automatic 40, right? :point:
