Magical Leopluridon Posts: 772 Group: Members Member #779 Joined: February 15, 2007	Well...I'm back. I had moved to VA and was living/working at a great eventing farm, and then the shit hit the fan. Had some SERIOUS family(near death, self inflicted) issues and I felt that I'd be of more use at home supporting my family during this difficult time. I moved back with no job, but have found something at the mall until this job market clears up a bit...it's SOME money...which is better than nothing. Unfortunately, I got in an accident coming home from the mall interview and I totaled my car, got banged/bruised up and was a mess...I'm alright, just feeling a bit down and out. HOWEVER...I'm searching for a vehicle now....with a few leads. I'd love to have something to ride now and then as I do miss it very, very much. I think with all of the stress and heartache of life currently, riding would do wonders for my soul. I'm located in Lewisburg, PA....an hour from State College and an hour(opposite direction) from Harrisburg. Does anyone know of ANYONE that has a horse or two that needs schooled/hacked? Sorry if the post came off as bitchy/whiney...it's been a rough couple of months, and I'm sure all of you know what a nice ride can do to fix the general outlook on life. Thanks for listening. On a happier note....I still have Emmett, obviously, and I could not be happier with him. He's the BIGGEST love bug, has tons of personality and is just the best dog I could have ever asked for, ever! He's my once in a lifetime, that's for sure. He's gained some weight and is the.cutest.thing I have ever seen. I am so beyond thrilled with him, words can't describe. He's really helped me when I'm feeling down and out, and always manages to make me laugh or smile. Thanks again.

If only you were in NY you could ride my mare every day. (Not that you'd enjoy it!) I will keep my fingers crossed that you will find someone near you and get some equine therapy for yourself! Did you put the word out on TOB? They definitely have more readers so with luck someone will need help. I hope life gets a bit easier for you soon!!!

I didn't get anything yet.:( Thanks V...if I still lived with my dad I'd love to and the drive wouldn't be terrible, but now it's pushing three hours.:( I do, however....have a ton of friends in that area. Maybe if have plans to be in the area I can stop down to visit you and your boys and we can catch up? Thanks, TBF....it's slowly starting to look up. I have a car now, and a part time job...but I'm stressing out a bit because I'm getting NO hours. I'll be going to talk to them about that tomorrow. I did find out though, that I'm approved for unemployment and will recieve that for 26 weeks as long as I don't make more than a certain amount weekly, which I'm definately not. My brother is hit or miss.....we let him move back to his dads so he could start working again...and I was talking to him online and he kept saying the only way out was a gun, and he has no hope and nothing will change and he's go no way out. My mom and I called him and talked him down, and he sounded much better...and started talking about a couple of options he had....it's just really hard to deal with because I'd do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in my power to help, but unfortunately, lending him money right now isn't an option. I'm going to see him this weekend, taking him out to dinner...to see what else I can do. I appreciate the support but could use the ride time to clear my head.

I know Lancaster is a bit out, but they might have some ideas. Also, I know of some Saddlebred barns out that way. I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I can at least give you some contact information if you're interested.
