So my interview was this morning, and I think it went pretty well.

I am so not a morning person (I work nights), but I was up an ungodly hour and after chugging a pot of coffee I hope I came across as someone somewhat knowledgeable and useful (or at least awake ;) ). My interviewer talked a lot about the course and all the functions and programs, and it was more of a "this is what you will be doing" chat instead of an actual formal interview. I'm hoping that's a good sign :luck:

She told me that acceptance letters would be going out at the beginning of next week, so please keep your fingers crossed for just a bit longer!

Absolutely!

And I think it is very good sign that they were doing a "this is what you will be doing" chat !
Good Luck!

I took the course ages ago! Loved every minute of it. I'm surprise to read that they only offer it every 2-3 years and only except 15 people. At the time I took the course it was offered every year and I'm certain more than 15 people were in my class. I don't remember being interviewed either.....but perhaps I'm wrong. I thought it was first come first serve. The cost was minimal....mostly to cover the cost of the 3" binder of information given to us.

It really was great fun......I've even thought of taking it again in a few years!

Good luck!!

:luck: :luck: :one: Good luck Tarragon!!! And oh, by the way I do live near you so if you need a "test" garden I am an eager volunteer!! :cheer:

We bought our house with great landscaping, and I'm clueless as to how to keep it up. The irony is that I started my career (many years ago) as editor of a gardening magazine. I retained very little from those years, but a lot of my authors for the magazine were Master Gardeners and huge proponents of the program. When you get it, I think you should post tips for us wannabes to learn along with you.
