I swear sometimes I think its never going to happen with my mare. Mostly my fault. I never have time to ride her. A couple of weeks ago I decided I was going to stop doing so much for everyone else and really start putting some time into my own horse. She is a bit of a pita to deal with. Doesnt like to stand still, has heard separation anxiety, and doesnt think anything needs to be done slowly. :mallet: This past weekend I took her to a show just wanting to get her out for some more experience. Ended up coming home with a second in the hack and second and fourth over fences. She was slow and rhythmic down the lines, got the striding which is a huge accomplishment considering its very easy for her to leave one out, did all her changes, and hacked her little buns off.

I was so proud of her, and still am.

She is so beautiful. She really is. I just love her. Does she know that in my head once day she carries a Fabuleux foal for me, thereby creating the ultimate Somerset/Frankie hybrid offspring?

Really, she looks awesome! Kudos to you, she is NOT easy.
