13. Versatility at the Walk Open- (To be judged on horse’s behavior and willingness to complete simple maneuvers: forward, backward, side-pass, turns, halts, mount and dismount). All ages, all horses.

14. Dressage Suitability Open – all ages, all disciplines; any tack: walk, trot, canter

15. Matched Pairs Riding - (All disciplines: walk/ jog. Pair up with your favorite riding buddy! Class to be judged on keeping pace/cadence with your teammate. Matching rider turnout encouraged but not required!)

16. Instructor’s Appreciation Exhibition
We will announce and advertise your name, barn, and program. Fill out a small bio at registration.

Champion/Reserve Horses
High Point Rider: youth, adult, academy
(To qualify for any high point award horse and/or rider must compete in at least three of four divisions. It is not required to maintain the same rider/horse pair throughout the show, points are tallied separately for horses and riders.)

Youth = 15 years old & under, Adult = 16 years old & over. Novice = earned less than five blue ribbons in last 2 years, Accomplished = earned five or more blue ribbons in 2 years.
Academy classes: Smith Lake Western Lesson Program Students enrolled in 2008-2009 season.
Fort Bragg Horse = any Fort Bragg Horse whether academy or leased. Fort Bragg Horses are extremely welcomed and encouraged in all other classes as well - of course!
Last Chance W/J = Walk/Jog class for those who have not yet won a first or second place ribbon at THIS SHOW.

Helmets are recommended & encouraged for every class, and every ride, every time!

Parental signature required for release of liability forms if under 18.

Proper western clothing: Clean shirt with collar and sleeves; long pants (jeans okay); boots suitable for riding safely.
No t-shirts, tank tops, dirty clothing, or shorts.
Good sportsmanship expected.
No stallions or dogs permitted on the grounds.
Current Coggins within 1 year must be presented
