I am so overwhelmed right now - I don't know where to start. So, I getting rid of my flat as a pancake Crosby that doesn't really fit me or my horse and we're starting dressage lessons and hopefully will be going to some schooling shows in the next year. So, naturally I want a dressage saddle. I have tried a couple. I really loved the Isabell Wintec...a lot! But I can't see myself spending $1000 on a school saddle and the used ones that would fit me (17-17.5 seat) are getting snatched up. I sat on a couple of used ones at Rick's in West Chester and I really liked the one Stubben that was also in my price range (less then $1000....hopefully less then $700...) and I really liked it, but it's brown. Is that a big no-no? My horse is wide, which is why I liked the changeable gullet saddle, but if I can find a wide dressage saddle, that would be okay too.....so if I did end up finding one on Ebay and it didn't fit, which brands would be the easiest to resell? Or, you know, just general advice in the saddle department would be welcomed too! Thanks! |
