Posts: 7,610 Group: Members Member #96 Joined: January 6, 2007	Kanoe I was looking through all of the pictures and noticed one woman with a similar shirt to yours who seems to be in a special modified chair and is strapped in. I'm guessing she's wheelchair bound perhaps? I can't think of any other reason you'd want to be lashed to the cart. I looks like a beautiful time!! I would love to see some driving events. Not many in my area. LOVED the woman with the four in hand. I'd love to do that, but I suppose that would mean I need to OWN four horses???

She is an amazing person, she has MS and is confined to a scooter (not a wheelchair). She has a seat in her carriage that was made custom for her by a race car guy. She is strapped in with a race car type harness with quick releases. She has a very fancy Welsh mare that takes great care of her. Oh, and we did the 30 day check on my mare today and we have a heartbeat! She is bred to the horse at the bottom of this page, Zion JC, http://www.dgbarranch.com/Breeding.htm The gal with the four in hand is from Montana as is one of the pair drivers. I am going to go up there this fall sometime and work with them on dressage, it should be fun. I'll check out the schedule for events in your part of Texas! Or you could just come out to California in the spring and join in the fun!

He reminds me of the gelderlander horses with all the flashy white and the movement. How exciting!!!!! DG stands some really nice horses. I believe at one time they stood my favorite, Rubino Bellisimo for a season. Thanks for the info on the other folks. I think its amazing that she participates in driving and stays active. Perhaps I shall fly out with Kiltman on one of his many CA trips when there's an event gong on. He keeps telling me that we're just going to storm Oregon and visit you guys and that brewery that you sent my shirts from.

I have yet to strap Black Tack aboard for a Cross Country ride.....and she is soooooooo overdo! Congrats too on the new heartbeats! New Youngins are always exciting & uplifting.
