 I came across this article http://www.horsetalk.co.nz/breeding/foalsex-121.shtml and thought it was quite interesting.

Those are pretty darn high percentages. Guess I was feeding my mare too much last year during breeding season as I ended up with 5 colts and 1 filly.

 I've heard that too... but I'll stick by my tried and true ACV, moon in the west, pre-ovulation, mare on top, drunken naked bonfire festivities, and midnight potato rituals to get my fillies... who needs science when you have old wives' tales and superstition :innocent:

FOR-REAL....Gwen over seas with the LOVELY colored horses KNOWS...and ??? someone else on here wrote something about it too....and it sounded good to me....hummmm was it Norsire???? seems that you have to KNOW your mare and her cycle...but as many as you breed BC you would "know" them....quite well in fact :teehee:


I'm gonna look for it...I've NOTHING else to do...
