Well, please forgive Apollo looking like a mule in some of the photos and me looking like a whale, and they REALLY aren't as fun as LF's adventure, but here is a link to our last event.....

I didn't think he looked mule-like! And you were looking RIGHT thru his ears, had to help with the straight lines!

I thought you all looked very nice in the photos, including the dog. dog might blend better if you get one the same color as carriage! Ha-ha

Nothing to be ashamed of that I could see. Each movements is separate from the others with it's own set of points. Like a new start at each letter change! This is why you can appreciate the "moments of glory" as a special to remember, they are far and few between! A great halt, terrific extension across the center, forget the less wonderful stuff.

<3 You are making me itch girl! :o Sure looks like a great CDE. Wonderful photos, and quite a handsome mascot enjoying the drive in the last set with his Carriage vantage point view!

Very cool! My trainer got to try out driving when she was teaching a clinic up the coast... now she's threatening her FEI dressage horse with a late-life change in discipline :D

Awesome! Is that Mr. CDE Driver in the back in all three classes? Archie looks right at home as the "coach". In the cross country phase, it looks like he is wearing a blanket or something that is the same colour as your shirts. What is that cause it is awfully cute! He is such a good boy just to lie there. Has he been doing that since he was a pup?

Thanks LD! The fellow with me works for me. I am lucky enough to have full time help here, we have 14 horses and I drive five to six a day. I couldn't do it without him. Dyrk (Mr. CDE) won't navigate for me! He says it's too big a responsibility! ;)

Archie Moore has a little "Team Oregon" vest, it is in our colors :teehee: He love riding on the carriage, he goes with me with every horse every drive. I think it started out as him wanting to be with me all the time and now he enjoys it. He is usually just sleeping on there! Some events won't allow him to ride with my in competition but this one did. Apollo really does better with all his friends around, and I can use the extra 80 pounds on the carriage!

I have always wanted to learn how to drive and to do competitive driving. It looks like so much fun.

Stay tuned!

Apollo looks insanely fit! Easily saw him in a riding dressage test with each movement from the photos.
