I will be there to watch esp on the weekends. Anybody going?

I am now in the Monterey area.. having relocated last week.

Looking forward to seeing old faces out there. I learned to ride at Pebble in the 70's.

I was in Maine. They decided I was too old to be a camp counselor.. grrrr.. so I got a paid month up there and then headed west. I prepped the horses for camp. My staff there was all 20 year olds and not exactly wanting to work very hard. It was very muddy and I am actually glad I am out of there. It rained every day for a month.

My horses aren't here yet.. they will come in the fall when it's cooler. I am just around in Monterey looking for work and enjoying the sunshine.

So if you do head out, let me know I would love to say hi. I ran into a few old faces today.. I was out there checking things out. I learned to ride at Pebble back in the 70's and know a lot of people on the show circuit in CA.

I am going to keep painting doggies and stuff while I am job hunting.. so I will be keeping busy with that and job hunting for now.

I can't believe all the rings now at the PB shows. WOW. The last time I went they didn't spill over on both sides of Portola Road.

The entries are down I heard though this year from last. About 100 or so less than last year they said.

LG, wow everything seems to be changing for you! Hope it all works out! Yes PB has grown particularly the summer shows. That is the only time they go over there. Bodie spooked at the homes on the other side of the fence! :mallet: One year lots of horse fell on the grass! :tantrum: The 1st week is usually the lightest with the Socal people coming the 2nd two weeks and then heading to Menlo! I rode with Diane Yeager (Westhaven Farm). She is a beautiful hunter rider so if you get a chance to see her ride take notice!

I usually try to come down but with my horses living so far away from me I have little spare time! So I am still not sure I will be down.

I have been going 2-3 days each week. This week we entered the Frenchies in the Friday Dog show.. in the Costume Contest. My Truffles and my mom's Frenchie, Chico went as a bride and groom. Low and behold... they won the class. It was hysterical. I will get some pics up as soon as I get them.

Great shows... nice memories for me out there... lots of old faces still around out there.
