So I gave up trying to find new boots a while ago because I couldnt find a pair that looked decent. I really didnt want zippers because I thought they made my big calves look even bulkier. I found these and I think they fit pretty well, but I'd like outside opinions before I decide to keep them for sure. Sorry for the weird shots, I was trying to take the photos myself. =) ![]() ![]()

I like them! They seem from the photos that they might drop to be a hair short on you, but I can't really tell how high they come up behind your knee from the photos. I think they look beautiful on your leg--don't worry about the zippers! |

Haha thanks Renn-I hate my calves (that never seem to get smaller or bigger if I lose/gain weight, I think I am just stuck with them no matter what I do!). I dont have a photo but they are hitting behind my knee high enough to make them uncomfy when I sit and bend my leg. I was hoping the wouldnt drop more than a 1/2" or so since they are fully lined and have zippers but who knows. The only thing I need to figure out still is if they are too big in the foot. I'm not used to wearing boot socks and havent had tall boots in several years, so I can't tell if they are too big or if they will work. I dont want my foot sliding around while i ride... |

They are Sergios-- yes? If so, they don't drop all that much, so I think you would be fine. Wear with a pair of heel risers as you break in and you should be good. Foot-wise, I think I have a size *bigger* in my SG than I normally wear in euro sized shoes (ie 38 in dansko but a 39 in my SG). Remember your feet do swell a bit on those hot, long days-- but you are right, you don't want to be swimming in the boot either. |

Actually they are Der Daus (the new stock boot). They are pretty contoured, so I am hoping they wont drop much. I still cant decide about the foot size, but I am thinking they may be perfect if I just stick in a gel insert since they are not that much too big. I dont want to order a size smaller and wind up with sore feet. |

I think they're very pretty boots and look like they fit you well, so long as they don't drop a ton. |
