Blood work came back on the high end of normal - so we took them out for a few minutes, they both enjoyed stretching their legs  Now that her muscle enzymes are back allowing her to develop muscle, I can't wait to start to see her develop & catch up to the other youngsters  Very happy that her blood work came back as it did, because this problem can lead to fatigue and ultimately crashing...not that we are out of the woods (are you ever with the babies?), but I can sleep a little easier.

This picture makes me crack up, mom is 16.2, do the TB babies typically have legs this long - are they born taller that WB babies? Her two WB babies were leggy but shorter than this girl...

Spacely, how is your mare coming along?
I'm glad to hear that she's doing well. Those babies do like to worry ya, don't they? She does have really long legs! She's adorable!

I'll have pictures of Salem from Devon for you soon. I forgot my camera, so I'm waiting for my friend to email them. Salem looked great, but there were 22 in her class and she was a bit nervous and didn't want to stand. She didn't do anything bad, just didn't want to stand still.

Have you bred Witchy yet? Is it Cunningham all the way?

She hasn't been bred yet...I'm hoping for a May/June foal (much better weather & fits with my exam schedule) - my trainer is bugging me to take her to a show or two before I breed her too ;)

But it's Cunningham all the way...and I am very excited for the cross :cheer:
