MY Mom died. Not trying to be a bummer, but its so hard for me to believe that 30 years has gone.
I dont know why, but suddenly this afternoon I was sitting at my desk and it dawned on me.
I miss her just as much now, maybe more. The real point of this is to all of you who still have your moms. Give them a big hug and kiss and tell them how much you love them, and remember how fortunate you are to have them in your lives!

I miss you mom. :rose: Thanks for letting me be a bit sentimental and nostalgic! :,(

Hugs Honey! :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:

It's hard for me to believe my Mom's been gone just over 14 years.
But I feel her presence almost every day. A song, a scent, the twist of a strangers head, a phrase, my niece's laughter, or simply the caress of a warm breeze on my cheek. She's here, just as your Mom is there with you. Still watching over you......

Aww thanks you guys. I think about her all the time. I know so many people who take theire parents for granted, or dont get along.
You only have one set. I have some friends who have parents who are late 80s and 90 and still going strong. I am so envious of them. So many things I wish I could tell her, talk to her about, share with her.
I finally can do her gravy recipe for turkey after all these years. LOL This past thanksgiving when I got it just the way she had I shouted MOM Finally I did it. Its hard to believe so much time has passed. I feel REALLY old.

 I lost my mom when I was a teenager... I am still so sad that she never got the chance to meet her grand children and so many other events she had looked forward to.

 Your mom may not be here physically, but her energy is still strong... She knows just how much you love and miss her

Months after my mom passed away I was in a horrific car accident (flipped my truck, rolled several times and landed upside down... I should have died... The whole time I remained perfectly calm, I felt my mother's presence, she was there I have no doubts, and feeling here there saved my life... of that I'm sure.

Sannois,
I can totally relate to you. I have those moments alot. I lost my mom when I was 14. She has been gone now for 32 years. She died very young from breast cancer. I miss her everyday and what we could of shared. It was never easy to grow up without a mother. She was a wonderful horsewoman and a lover of animals and people. She had the kindest heart. My daughter never got the chance to have a grandma. My daughter looks alot like her and also shares the love of horses and animals. I believe my mom is watching over us. She's riding beautiful horses in the lush green fields in heaven. I can only hope when my day comes, that we can again ride together.

I hear people all the time fussing about their parents, at least they had the time with them that I didn't have. They should appreciate it but they won't. Not until something happens. Hug your parents and be glad that there still with you.

   :rose: to you Sanny

I am so fortunate to still have my 83 year old Mother going pretty strong. But my Father passed away when I was 20 and I miss him dearly.

I'm also saddened when I hear people fuss about their parents. I know some folks had a hard time growing up due to unpleasant families, but if you can feel blessed that you have your parents with you.
