Are any of these google ad things legit? I signed up for one, but I think it's a scam and now I am scared. I found out they charge you the s/h and then bill you more monthly, and its hard to cancel. Dangit. I researched it too, and thought it was legit, but now I think I was tricked.

Stupid me.

One thing I noticed too, when you do a search on some of these at home online things, it takes you to a review site that is linked back to more products. How do you know what review is legit?

Isn't anybody taking these damn illegal things to court? Some of the links that are posted as Google links... are in fact the scams. I went to one off of facebook... a google sponsored ad.

WTF.

I will try to cancel the one I did, but I am worried now. I have never tried one of these before either... they are preying on people, and tricking them. Dammit. :soapbox: :argh: :censored: :mallet:

If a charge you did not authorize does show up on your credit card just call the credit card company right away and they should take the charge off.

I recently signed up to receive a trial of something for around $10. If you don't cancel with in about two weeks they will charge you A LOT more for continuing to receive it. I did cancel but the charge showed up on my card TWICE more. I called the CC company and they took it off.

I don't know if this is similar at all to what is going on for you???

I cancelled my cc to be sure I don't get charged. It's just to risky. I feel I was tricked. The bank said no problem. Nothing has been charged yet.

These google ad things are everywhere, there has to be some truth to it, but I think that many are trying to cash in using the google name..

Better to be safe than sorry.

Yes that is the kind of thing it is. I just cancelled the CC. I don't want to be scammed. What it is, is a training product marketed by a secondary firm. The google ad thing should be free of charge, and I think if it's done through google its free. The other stuff is a marketing thing and can be a scam.

I am just too wary, and stupid..and I fell for it... but I cancelled it in time.

My bank is a local small bank and had no issue with just reissuing me a new cc.
