Trails by Day or Night...

Having been invited to view this board, I have occasionally visited as a "Guest" from time to time.

I am an older gent... LOL, older than most I think. My preferences really are trail riding / traveling to new trails and gathering friends along the route.

Some may know me by my long time original screen name of "Countryeyes4u" from other chat areas, or by my real name of Alan. Or some may more likely remember my horses, a BLM mustang by the name of "Satch", and his adoptive son a PMU rescue by the name of "Mystery".

In the past, I gathered folks up and inspired them to make montages, which probably was a highlight in my online life. For I also have a inspiration to take photos all the time, even while on horseback. My camera has captured some wonderful moments of rides and friends, along with wonderful horses all over New England.

Raised country, and I still am. A man who is blessed by two wonderful horses for sure. Never having any lessons in Equestrian, just one who grew up with surrounding farms and draft animals... And never lost the love of a horse.

So, hopefully, I will make some new friends, be able to have some of you enjoy our photos or montages, and possibly see some of you all out on trail rides. And I do try to help where I can, or offer a thought or two, and hopefully provide some smiles or laughter in all this.

So, if there is room for a country trail rider, and a couple of black steeds of power and antics, then we'll stay for awhile...

Alan, "Satch & Mystery"

Welcome Alan!

There is always room for more here...! I think a lot of us find it refreshing to be able to come here and ask questions and not endure the snark or train wrecks on COTH.

And we can always talk about whatever we want here in the Hay Loft! :woot: So feel free to post pictures, jokes, stories....horse related or not!

I think you'll like it here!

Enter a bit of a "Mystery" to the picture, and you have Satch's adoptive son.
5 months old, 450 lbs from a PMU auction, whom Satch bonded instantly with.
