I Visited Candy Mountain and All I Got Was This Lousy Incision Posts: 96 Group: Members Member #960 Joined: April 13, 2007	Just over a week ago my friend Deb had to euth her beautiful gray and white kitty Nuisy. He was only 6 1/2 years old; a stray that found her in a gutter in Kentucky. He was starving and flea-ridden and frankly should have died. She literally hauled him out of death. He became her little shadow, her lap cat. About ten days ago he "crashed" and she took him to the vet clinic where they diagnosed diabetes but were hopeful that they could stabilize him. His glucose levels stabilized but he was very anorexic and they took more tests. His kidneys were failing. She conversed with the doctors - no real hope for a quality life - so she chose to take his pain for her own. He had a good hour to sit in her lap and purr before being sent off to the bridge. So light a candle for Nuisy. He was lovely cat. Sue
