For those of you that do this, or pay to do this,

What to charge for 5 horses daily?

To include feeding AM/PM
Turnout, Bring In,
Blankets, water buckets, etc.

Well, I've never hired a professional to do this; just the teenager who lives across from me (now my boarder) and a few other friends. But I've paid approximately $10/horse per day -- $30/day when I had 3 horses, $25/day for 2. But that is with 24/7 turnout and no blanketing -- no leading in or out, basically 2 visits a day to give am and pm grain, pick out stalls and give hay if they weren't on pasture.

So for your job I'd say no less than $50/day, and a fair bit more depending on the complexity of the setup. I'll be curious to hear what others say as I may be way off base for market prices.

I would say about $45-50 a day.

For 2 horses, we pay our barn guy $25/day to feed am/pm, open up the stalls when the horses are done eating (they use their stalls as run-in), do stalls, clean/fill water buckets, and pick the fields. Basically, it takes him about an hour to do all this, including travel time to come over twice a day. This is for regular, weekly care rather than farm sitting, but it sounds like we're in line with what everyone else is paying. You want to make it worth someone's while if they're trustworthy.

So yes, for 5 horses, I would say a minimum of $50 -- more if it's a hike to turn them out, if you live in the frozen tundra so that blanketing or water buckets are a hassle, etc. Hell, the cat sitter used to charge me $15 to come over and give my cat meds 2x a day, and she lived in the neighborhood.

I think a good rule of thumb is $10 per horse, per day with the minimum amount of money for any job being $25 (you have to make it worth your while).
