CDE -- Yes, two easy steps: (1) go to butcher; (2) buy Beef Tenderloin.

In all seriousness . . . does your dog like bananas or cooked carrots? I'm thinking you could make a banana or carrot biscuit using oat or rice flour to bind it instead of wheat, and use yogurt or beef broth to moisten. My dogs both adore both bananas and carrots.

Good one Delia, Archie Moore would be most pleased with tenderloin snacks!

He doesn't like bananas and carrots are on his allergic to list! Lucky for him he nearly perfect in every other way :teehee: :teehee:
Rice he CAN do though. I guess we will stick with cut up yams as treats!

CDE -- If Archie can have yams, then BH2's yam cookie recipe should work if you substitute rice bran or ground flax for flour and leave out the egg. I had no idea that Archie was such a delicate little flower!

When I lived in Peru, we had a Boxer that ate yams and chicken with rice. Down there everyone has a housekeeper that cooks.. yes it's very nice.. and she cooked the dog his dinner every night.

He never had skin issues. With regular store bought dog food (we coudn't get the all natural kind in Peru) he always did.

My dogs eat California Naturals food. It's the best I have found for allergies. Truffles the Frenchie gets broken out so badly if I feed her junk.. Joy the Boxer also does, but not as bad as Truffles.
